Platform driver
Preparation guidance for Uber or Bolt. Platforms apply their own admission rules; currently this generally includes a minimum age of 21.
Self-employed driver

MAHES sinds 1981 provides guidance with preparing and uploading information for Uber and/or Bolt, self-employment, vehicle rental and work introductions. Customers create their own accounts and submit official applications themselves. Uber, Bolt, Kiwa, the Chamber of Commerce, rental companies, insurers and employers or fleet partners independently decide on acceptance, permits, contracts, deposits, rental, insurance and work. MAHES sinds 1981 is not affiliated with Uber or Bolt and does not guarantee platform admission, a permit, a rental car, employment, a minimum number of rides, revenue or income. The JobStart guarantee means that MAHES sinds 1981 provides up to three suitable introductions for a complete file and, if none results in a conversation, offers one new matching round without an additional guidance fee. A job or assignment is not guaranteed. Third-party costs and contracts are excluded from the guidance price.

Training & planning
At what age can I start?
MAHES sinds 1981 taxi training is available from age 18. A valid category B driving licence is required for the practical test. Current official document and test requirements also apply to the driver card.
Is the driver card included?
No. The Kiwa application and fee are external. Only items explicitly listed with your chosen package are included.
Are the certificate of conduct and medical examination included?
Not by default. Arrange these documents in time and check the latest official requirements.
Can training be in English?
MAHES sinds 1981 can provide Dutch or English guidance where appropriate. Official CBR taxi tests are taken in Dutch.
Can I start an intensive route?
Yes, when assessment, preparation, your availability and our schedule allow it. CBR and Kiwa timing remain external.
When is my place confirmed?
After your request we check the package, payment, instructor, vehicle and schedule, then send final confirmation.
Work, platforms & vehicle rental
Do you help with Uber and Bolt?
Yes. We review your file, explain the current steps and guide one upload session. Uber and Bolt independently assess and approve accounts. Both platforms currently require drivers to be at least 21.
What does the JobStart guarantee mean?
We guarantee the agreed profile support, up to three suitable introductions and, where needed, one new matching round. The employer, client or fleet partner always decides; we cannot guarantee work, rides or income.
Do you rent taxis yourselves?
No. Subject to availability, we compare up to three rental providers and help you ask the right questions. You enter into the rental, deposit and insurance agreement directly with the provider.
